The Boy Scouts of America has always been a uniformed body. The uniform is a means for members to identify themselves openly with the principles to which the program is committed -- character development, citizenship training, and physical and mental fitness. The uniform is the only place for a boy to properly display his badges and wards.
All boys in Pack 876 are expected to wear a uniform to Pack and Den meetings and functions. At a minimum, the uniform is considered to consist of an official Cub Scout hat, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, shirt, and belt.
